About Pawn Price Estimator

Pawn Price Estimator is a free online tool that helps you understand what your belongings are worth before you walk into a pawn shop or list an item for sale. Enter an item name or upload a photo, and the tool researches current market data to estimate the original retail price (MSRP), the typical used market value, and the range a pawn shop is likely to offer you as a loan or purchase price.

How It Works

Estimates are generated with the help of Google's Gemini AI models combined with live web search. When you submit a search, the tool looks at recent listings, sold prices, and retail data for comparable items, then applies the industry-standard pawn offer range of roughly 30% to 60% of an item's used market value. For items you photograph, an optional counterfeit screening highlights visual red flags worth checking before you buy or sell.

What You Can Estimate

  • Jewelry, gold, and precious metals
  • Luxury watches and designer accessories
  • Electronics, game consoles, phones, and laptops
  • Tools, instruments, collectibles, and more

Our Goal

Pawn transactions often favor the party with better information. Our goal is simple: give you a realistic, data-backed price range in seconds so you can negotiate with confidence and avoid accepting an offer far below what your item is worth. Alongside the tool, our guides library explains how pawn valuations, loans, and negotiations actually work.

All estimates are informational only and are not formal appraisals. For high-value items we always recommend obtaining a quote from a certified appraiser. Questions or feedback? Visit our contact page.
